ROOF GARDENS
 Roof gardens are a specialist area and have to be treated differently to normal garden construction. I have completed several roof gardens over the years with the most recent one being in Boscombe near Bournemouth.
Before any roof gardens can be constructed make sure that the roof can take extra weight. If you are unsure, call in a structural engineer.
>>> Tips
Irrigation is a must for containers. The drip feed type with a timer control would normally be the best. It is essential to allow water to flow freely on the original roof and underneath any materials you may place on the roof.
